The handles stay amazing to the touch on both the pan and lid and I haven’t had to use an oven glove, but that could thanks to the simple fact that I use a reduced flame beneath that does not prolong above the base of the pan and up the sides. So easy to wash to and haven’t ordeals (however) any sticking.
